    Our phone-buying counter operates from inside Cash Generator St Helens, 41 Church Street, St Helens, WA10 1AX. Telephone 01744 775978, WhatsApp 07378 985468, email sthelens@cashgenerator.co.uk. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.

    Information we collect

    Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:

    • Identification details recorded in store where required for a purchase or buyback, in line with our legal and compliance obligations.

    We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide guide estimates, carry out device and ownership checks, complete purchases or buyback agreements, arrange payment, and meet our legal, tax and compliance obligations.

    Device data

    You are responsible for backing up and removing your own data before selling a device. Apple Find My, Google account locks and other activation locks must be removed before payment can be completed. We recommend signing out of all accounts and performing a factory reset before you visit.

    Retention

    We keep records for as long as required for the transaction and for the periods required by law and by our compliance obligations, then delete or securely destroy them.

    Your rights

    You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure in certain circumstances, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise a right, contact us using the details above.
