Sell Your Phone by Post from Anywhere in the UK
PhonesForCash lets customers across the UK sell phones, tablets, smartwatches and selected devices without visiting our store. Request a personalised guide valuation, arrange delivery with our team and receive a confirmed offer after your device has been inspected.
Final offers are confirmed after inspection and testing. You are not required to accept.
Do not send a device before receiving sending instructions.
Contact our team first so that the correct delivery, packaging and identification arrangements can be agreed for your specific device.
A note on our postal service
Our nationwide postal service is currently being rolled out. Detailed policies on free postage, insurance limits, payment timing and returns will be published on this page as they are confirmed. Until then, please contact the team for the current process.
Devices accepted
We consider iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and most other Android phones, iPads and tablets, Apple Watch and other smartwatches, AirPods and selected accessories, and MacBooks and selected laptops. Working, damaged, faulty, new, sealed and unwanted-upgrade devices are all considered.
Information needed for a guide valuation
- Brand, model and storage capacity
- Network status — unlocked, locked or unknown
- Overall condition and any known faults
- Battery health, where known
- Whether the device is fully paid for and not reported lost or stolen
- Photos of the device, where possible
The postal process
- Tell us about your device. Send the details above by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Receive a guide valuation. Our team reviews the information and contacts you with an estimated valuation.
- Arrange tracked delivery. Wait for the agreed sending instructions before posting the device.
- Inspection and final offer. The team tests the device and confirms the final offer.
- Accept and get paid. Payment is arranged once you accept the final offer.
If the final offer differs from the guide valuation, we will explain why before asking you to accept or decline.
Packaging your device safely
Use a padded envelope or small box. Wrap the device in bubble wrap, secure any loose accessories separately and avoid leaving the box under-filled. Detailed packaging guidance will be included in your individual sending instructions.
Proof of identity
UK second-hand goods regulations require proof of identity for every purchase. Our team will confirm the specific identification requirements when your device details are reviewed.
Removing accounts and personal information
Before sending, you should back up your data, sign out of personal accounts, remove device-tracking locks (such as Find My or Google Find My Device) and erase the device. Our team will explain any additional account-removal or data-handling requirements during inspection. A device that cannot be accessed may not be capable of being conventionally erased — acceptance will depend on its condition, security status and intended resale, refurbishment or parts-processing route.
Lost, stolen or account-locked devices
Devices reported lost or stolen, or subject to an unresolved insurance claim, are not purchased. Manufacturer account locks (Apple Activation Lock, Google FRP and similar) must be removed by the legitimate owner through official methods before purchase. PhonesForCash does not bypass account or ownership protections.
Returns and declined offers
You are never required to accept the final offer. Return arrangements are agreed with each customer directly — please confirm the current returns process with our team before sending your device.

Our nationwide postal service is being rolled out. Contact our team on WhatsApp, phone or email to register your device and receive individual sending instructions before you post anything.

No. PhonesForCash does not display an automatic online price. Every valuation is reviewed by our team and the final offer is confirmed after inspection and testing.

If the confirmed offer differs from the guide valuation — for example, because a fault is found on inspection — we'll explain the reason and give you the choice to accept or decline.
What happens if I decline the final offer?
You are never required to accept. Return arrangements will be discussed with you directly — please contact our team for the current return process before sending your device.
Do you buy account-locked phones?
Apple Activation Lock, Google Factory Reset Protection and other manufacturer account locks must be removed by the legitimate owner through official methods before we can purchase a device. Lost, stolen or suspicious devices are not purchased.
